My birthday falls in the month of November so as a gift Jen took me on a little weekend getaway to some places I've always wanted to go!

The first place we went was Out of Africa Wildlife Park, it was awesome! Here you are able to see the animals up close and personal unlike some zoo's.

Me with a White Tiger eating away, he just got fed so he was chowing down and didn't care about me!

This is a show they put on with some Tigers that like to play in the water. I didn't know this but Tigers actually like the water unlike other big cats.

A Zebra showing off some of his recent dental work.......

This guy was one of the coolest cats there, a Siberian Tiger, he weighs 700 pounds and is a lot bigger than other Tigers!

Jen just got done feeding this guy he ate a treat right out of her hand!

Gus the Camel, he was friendly or I think he just wanted a treat!
Jen with some Tigers behind her they actually walk right up to the fence to check you out!

Jen feeding a Tiger through the fence, I did it too it was pretty cool!

Jen with some baby Grizzly Bears behind her they were big already but along ways from being full grown.

This guy was the coolest Lion there he just got fed and was growling at us because he thought we wanted his big hunk of meat they just gave him!

This is me and Jen out on a patio at Page Spring Vineyards up by Cornville, Arizona, it was real pretty there and we actually got to see some fall colors, which is rare in Arizona.

Some of the vineyards!

A pathway through the grounds at the vineyards.

Enjoying ice cream in Jerome.

Jen in front of the Jerome Grand Hotel. Legend says its haunted and I have to say it definitely fits the bill as far as looks go especially at night! Oh and it used to be a hospital back in the twenties and sat vacant for 40 years until it was recently turned into a hotel.
On the other side of the hotel is a restaurant called the Asylum, we had a great dinner there and it also has a awesome view of the Verde Valley.

Me and Jen and that's Jerome on the hill behind us.
This a picture of Jerome "the biggest ghost town in America".

This past week we celebrated Jens birthday and she got spoiled as usual but she deserves it!

The big birthday cake!

My Mom and Jen on her big day!

We also took a trip up to Sedona as part of my present. We stayed at a cool hotel up there called the Enchantment which sits in a canyon right between the big red cliffs that Sedona is so famous for. We also checked out all the popular spots in town and really had a great time, if you've never been there it's definitely worth checking out.

out and about in Sedona

Just walking around the hotel in this pic.

We are attempting to look like golfers in these pics!

Just got done doing some Yoga! believe it or not she got me to do it!

Part of the hotel grounds

On the way back home we took the scenic route (something I learned from my dad) and went through the strange town of Jerome. I also recommend going here, it's a old mining town built right on the face of a mountain and a lot of the buildings are supposed to be haunted if you believe in that sort of thing that is. Anyways this is a pic of my babe Jen and as you can see Jerome also has quite a view, if you look hard you can see the red cliffs of Sedona in the background.

Today my little sister Lauren and my nephew Kaden came over to visit and go swimming!

Kaden likes jumping off the sides and into his mothers arms! He has no fear for a 2 year old!

Got dust? Just another wonderful Monsoon storm in Arizona! I took this picture today but it doesn't really do justice to how it looked in person. Jen was actually stuck out driving in it but she made it home ok although she was a little scared!

Car crazy

I just put in a link below to show a video of me racing my car (I'm in the black one). I guess I should warn you all that i'm a bit of a car nut and believe it or not Jen is too. We actually saw each other for the first time at firebird raceway where the video below was shot. Since day one we have loved doing anything together that involves cars, i've always thought it was pretty cool since she's one of the few girls thats actually into it!

Me being a slave for my babe, making sure her car stays looking good!
